In 1989, Jack’s band (Meat Riot!) scored a #1 hit with their epic anthem, “Hot Mess.” Two decades later, the ode to imperfect desire was resurrected in a Super Bowl campaign that revealed the new (and amazing) Hot Mess Burger.
The digital campaign delivered engagement across mobile, desktop and tablet devices—daring fans to scream for their burgers and letting them drum along with the band on their touchscreens. Additional content included a series of karaoke videos, a healthy batch of animated GIFs and plenty of Meat Riot Memories (wallpapers, scrapbook images, etc.)—along with a host of banners, site skins and social content. Really, the song lyrics express everything more perfectly than we could ever say ourselves: "I’m begging for a late-night rendezvous / I know you’re hot for me baby and I’m burnin’ for you!”
